That depends on how much you'd like to learn!

Caltrans has a good website on flexible pavement design with a lot of links to the FHWA & AASHTO. (http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/esc/Translab/OPD/DivisionofDesign-flexible.htm)

Unless you have a more specific question, that's where I'd start. The same site describes the design of rigid pavements, too.
