of course my answer will help you
whether you give me ten points is up to you
now the question you're not asking yourself but be if you were with me is this:
"why did i cry on the way home tonight?
was it my extreme weariness?
why do i do it anyway?"
you don't do it for the smiles
you don't do it for the practice you get
so why do you do it?
what can you give?

I have mild insomnia... I can't get to sleep on most days. When I REALLY need to sleep, for a test maybe, or an appointment the next day, I usually listen to 'Sounds of the Rain' a CD my mother made. I can fall asleep easy in rain storms, and also I find that drinking hot cocoa or hot tea, [pomegranate in my opinion is the best sleep aid] If this doesn't work try some Tylenol PM. In my extreme case, I have never had to resort to the sleep aid, so I think you should be good with just that =] hope this helps.

You should know that one very important thing is most likely missing in your brain if you suffer from troubled sleep.
I'm not talking about some form of disability or physical deficiency. I'm talking about a form of brain activity that is in sorely low supply in people who sleep badly (and, incidentally, in people who suffer from ADHD).
It's something that athletes have.
Something that you can have too, very simply, without effort, once you know how. Yet almost nobody knows about this, and much less know how to use it.
Your brain needs retraining!
Sleep specialists agree: a combination of brain training and effective sleep strategies is the best and most direct way to combat insomnia.
There is a free 7 part course you can subscribe to that is packed full of info. See http://www.insomniafreedom.com/free-cour...
It helped me rest for the first time in years when I tried it 12 months ago.

Hi i know that this sounds strange but here we go!
I have been taking Valerian ( It works) for exactly the same problem and when i take it I have noticed that it has cloves in it.
My Brother works at a fish farm and to transport the fish alive they put cloves in the water as it sends them into a sleep.
I have never tried this but we have food with cloves all the time so i know that its not poisonous.
If you get desperate!!!!
Best of luck I know what it's like.

Write down your feelings. Keeping a journal to write down your thoughts and concerns before bed is often a good idea. That way when you're awake you can look back and analyze your problems instead of staying up and worrying. Melatonin, warm milk, turkey, warm bath. These things have all helped me. You could also look at this website:

I hope this helps.

I won't get 10 points because I'm up myself trying to figure out how to fall asleep. Only thing I can suggest is put the worst show on tv or something really boring.

Best thing is to drink a glass of milk 30 min before bed. The amino acid tryptophan causes a boost in your brains serotonin levels, and basically soothes/calms your brain down.
Has never failed me.

try thought blocking.. meaning try to stop thinking about your bad day.. sometimes if you take a warm bath before going to bed also helps.. or drink some warm milk too.. but the most effective is thought blocking..
