For instance: If God says it is evil to kill the innocent, then why is it not considered evil when He does it? Have you ever wondered that sort of thing or do you think that God is allowed to do whatever He wants, even if it would be considered evil if a human did it?

God is God and God can do anything God wishes, You think He is responsible to YOU?

Well first you have to figure out if God personally killed the innocent or if it was the consequences of the Fall or man's collective sin since then or someone's direct sin.
But, yeah, if God made something He has a right to do ANYTHING He wants with it, and it isn't His creation's place to judge Him. First of all, to judge Him accurately you would have to see at least everything He saw in the matter. Secondly, you would have to understand His thoughts and the values He has. Really, He is the only one who has the right to make the standards of what is good and holy and right, what is necessary to eradicate evil, what is evil, what might have happened in the future, if more good would come of this or that, etc. This is His world, not ours. God is the authority, and we are His. Sometimes an authority Must do what those under the authority Must Not do, otherwise there would be havoc.
Most, if not all, of the incidents when people have blamed God for doing something they considered evil, it was not God who did it. It was just part of living in a sinful, fallen world, one ruined by the fall of man. One day this world will burn up and God will create a new heaven and a new earth. Then all will be perfect and worth all that went on before.

God is indeed far beyond comprehension. He does things that we need not question because we can be certain that He has plans for us that will work for the better. Yes, it is okay to question God's works because it builds a stronger relationship with Him. Look, even David, the man after God's own heart questioned God. He even expressed openly his anger, sorrows, pains, hurts, and everything else to God. It's okay to question what God is doing, but never do question God's existence, nor His power. Have you ever experienced this really bad thing that happened, and then all of a sudden a better experience connected to the preceding one follows? God works in ways we cannot understand.

Here's an excerpt from the song "Trust His Heart" that speaks well of what my answer is about:

"God is to wise to be mistaken,
God is to good to be unkind,
So when you don't understand,
When you can't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand,
Trust His heart."

God knows what is best for us. If He takes an innocent person's life, then maybe that person's job on earth was done-- mission accomplished, finished. Trust that God will never do anything to hurt you, He will never give you a burden greater than the strength He gave you to overcome it.

first of all god doesn't kill people. people kill people.

so theres a child in the desert and theres no food and blah,blah,blah....the kid dies.

that's not god. thats people who live in a place where theres no food and have children they can't feed with food they don't have...it's very sad and i wish i could feed all the kids a sandwhich and some oreos but it's not god....

now lets move on to this innocent thing...

an innocent person is like an athiest...non-existent...no such thing.

k so where were we...right, so you say what about babies....they would kill you for a bottle of milk if they could and not even bat an eye....(thats why we a re born so small and unable to carry machetes, i suppose)

theres no innocent....so even if god did decide to start offin folks they ain't innocent and when it comes to things like god....he's god...i mean c'mon if he wanted to he could just be a real jerk....but he doesn't....he loves us and all anyone ever has to say about him is how mean he is...theres a part in the bible that says "if you were as bad as you could be what would you be taking away from god? or if you were as good as you could be what would you be adding to him?"

theres no taking away or adding to god so then the only thing that we can assume is that the things are for us to learn and grow and become better people and grow into the free individuals he created us to be and become "beacons (yay, i like the word 'beacons') of his love"

lol...i am a dork and i now laugh because i just said "beacon of love" but that doesn't mean i don't still believe it...

ps....theres no such thing as athiests!

The issue is not whether we should question God, but in what manner—and for what reason—we question Him. To question God is not in itself wrong. The prophet Habakkuk had questions for God concerning the timing and agency of the Lord’s plan. Habakkuk, rather than being rebuked for his questions, is patiently answered, and the prophet ends his book with a song of praise to the Lord. Many questions are put to God in the Psalms (Psalms 10, 44, 74, 77). These are the cries of the persecuted, who are desperate for God’s intervention and salvation. Although God does not always answer our questions in the way we want, we conclude from these passages that a sincere question from an earnest heart is welcomed by God.

Insincere questions, or questions from a hypocritical heart, are a different matter. “He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). After King Saul had disobeyed God, his questions went unanswered (1 Samuel 28:6). It is entirely different to wonder why God allowed a certain event than it is to directly question God's goodness. Having doubts is different from questioning God's sovereignty and attacking His character. In short, an honest question is not a sin, but a bitter, untrusting, or rebellious heart is. God is not intimidated by questions. God invites us to enjoy close fellowship with Him. When we "question God," it should be from a humble spirit and open mind. We can question God, but we should not expect an answer unless we are genuinely interested in His answer. God knows our hearts, and knows whether we are genuinely seeking Him to enlighten us. Our heart attitude is what determines whether it is right or wrong to question God

it is not wrong to question God's actions. Job did that, and so did ned flanders. it's a human thing, and God understands that. is it wise? well, that's another story altogether. no, it is never wise to question the Almighty. better to trust him, although i know this may be easier said than done.
um, where did you get the idea that God kills the innocent?

It is not only good to know God personally it is imperative to your salvation.
God is the giver of life he is not under law but is absolute righteousness,
The one who give you life can righteously require it.
God is an eternal spirit.
Man is flesh and temporary.
It is impossible for a man to understand the difference but revelation of spiritual things comes from God.
Those who love and seek the truth receive a gift from God called faith and through faith a man receives revelation from God. through revelation a personal relationship with God.
Knowing God relieves a man of doubts and reveals God's righteousness and truth to man.

Have you ever asked a friend of yours, What did you go and do that for? Of course you have! Only because you wanted to get to know them better right?
I think you are asking yourself some good questions.

If you put one Good shiny apply on top of a basket of bad apples, the good apple will become bad. To prevent spoilage of the good apple he needs to get rid of the bad ones so that the good one does not also become bad.

Had God ever killed a good apple? (So to speak)

After you have known God, you have all the rights to this universe. You can question Him on any thing.

But now when you are doubting His actions, and asking, who actually you are doubting and who actually you are asking?

Know your ABC first and then attempt to write the words and their meanings!

Many biblical people e.g. abraham, habbakuk, jonah etc ll at some point questioned God if God thought it was wrong he would not have allowed it to be preserved in the Bible for our benefit so no i don't think it's wrong to question

God is our creator therefore it is not our place to question Him. God kills, not because He is evil but because what He witnesses amongst His own creation is evil. Do you see it wrong that prisoners on death row are killed by the state? Doesn't make the state "evil"...because they kill that which is "evil".
