How awful! : ( I don't think you should transfer. Passing gas is natural. You could threaten another stink bomb if people don't drop the subject. lol Everyone has gas. The timing wasn't great in your situation but trust me after awhile no one will remember. Hold your head up high. It's not your fault just a natural process of the body.

The normal person passes gas an average of 14 times a day. .........even girls ; )
It's a fact of life and other kids should get over themselves. If she told them (obviously), you should confront her in front of everyone and just lay it out right there. Ask her why she had the audacity to tell the whole class about what happened and then (this one is BIG) ask her if she's never let one.....lol.
I mean, what's she gonna say in front of everyone? No?
Then you can ask her what type of person is so vendictive that they'd hurt someone else for no reason and does it make her feel "better than you" and whether or not her mother taught her such behavior. You'll have her cornered and maybe even crying before it's over. Then people won't be so likely to screw with you.
The BRAIN is the most powerful weapon. Your embarrassment will only hurt you IF YOU LET IT.
Hope that helps!!!

What happened to you is a biological process that you can't really control. So, let's say you choose the easy way out and transfer to another school. It is only a matter of time before you fart in public again.
You shouldn't feel embarrassed about you body working the way it is supposed to work. Your classmate should be the embarassed ones for being so ignorant about this subject. As if they had never passed gas, I bet they pass some stinky ones and even eagerly smell them.

That would be terrible, but it is not the last time you are going to be totally humiliated. You can't run every time. It will blow over. Perhaps it has already.Don't let it keep you down. Go back and act as if nothing happened. If someone ribs you, just smile or chuckle and say "I'm so embarrassed! Can't believe she could be so cruel." or something like that. It will stop the ribbing once the others see they aren't getting to you.
It won't be easy to pull that off, but give it your best performance.
You could inform miss big mouth that one day it will be her turn and you'll understand how she feels but you won't be too sympathetic.
But, one day someone will be treated badly and you can be the one who comes to his/her aid. It might be that someone is shunned or embarrassed by something or any number of situations. You'll feel so good to help them through it and really know how they feel.

Lighten up, it's just a little incident that nobody will remember in a week. You can't go through life getting the vapors and fainting every time something bad happens to you. Best way to get over the situation is to go back and face those kids. If they start in, say "Shut up, or next time it'll be you in the elevator."
Then laugh and go take your seat.
Don't sweat the small stuff, just laugh at it.

you have a long way to go- you will , by no fault of your own, face much embarrassment in your life. You will not be able to run away from it all- better now to learn to face it with grace and dignity than to continue to hide our face. You will only be the target for so long- something else will come up and this will soon be forgotten.
Learn to laugh at yourself or you will constantly be worried about being laughed at. EVERYONE, I don't care who they are, farts, belches, pukes and/or experiences other embarrassing bodily issues in public, some audiences are just crueler than others- just deal with it- it seems devestating now and I understand how you are embarrassed but in the long run, other issues will prove to be more important and more worthy of your thoughts and concern than this.

Of course that was very embarrassing. However, put yourself in one of those kids' position. What would you be thinking about the poor (farting) guy you were making fun at? "That guy deserves to be tormented to death or until he's out of this school?" or "I am having fun now making fun at him but that will be over soon and things will be back to like before". I think if you can endure the mocking for a few days, it will be over.

I did not want you to leave here thinking that you cannot control gas. There are three ways, none of which is painful. They simply require self control. ( painful in todays society)
#1. Good and Regular Bowel Habits. #2. CLOSE your sphincter muscle. You are not an orangatang. If you have uncontrollable gas due to some medical condition. By a bottle of BEANO. Old people pas gas because they are loosing control or some of their muscles. Babies because they have no gained it. Take my advice at least it won't happen again, and maybe your friends will forget that you were uncouth.

It is embarrassing but that's life. You will look back on this and it won't matter anymore. What's good about this is that you know who your friends are. As for the girl, well she's an open book-immature, cruel, shallow and fake. Do you honestly care what someone like her thinks?

This will be as embarrassing as you allow it to be. Sure, it's going to be tricky for a time, but if you acknowledge what they're saying and laugh about it, it will diffuse the power of their jibes. Because here's the truth - we all fart every day. If people laugh at you for farting, they have to be laughing equally at themselves. Dare I say, even the Pope farts - it's natural.
