Yes I have spent the last couple alone, it kind of makes the day not very special sadly. I used to love Xmas day and Xmas morning was always really great. But it didn't really bother me, I just had nice food and drink, read a book, surfed the net, watched tv/films, played some Tiger Woods, played some online poker, etc. Just do what you like doing and treat yourself to some nice food and drink.
I think what did make me feel a bit sad was looking out of the window and could see families together and friends round and it looked such a special day. But those days will happen for us too in years to come!

I won't be alone this Christmas but I will be away from my Family for the first time on Christmas. I'll be on duty and I'll most likely have to stand watch. I'll go to the Galley and eat some bad food, watch some movies on my laptop and try and call home.

Eat your favorite food. Do whatever you want. Go to the movies. Rent a favorite movie. Drive around and look at Christmas decorations. Go to a church service, or if you aren't religious, go downtown and absorb the Christmas atmosphere. Or stay in and pamper yourself by doing just what you enjoy. Curl up with a good book, or make something. It's hard to say since I don't know you, but make it a day just for you. Journal, or go shopping, or something fun to commemorate the day you spent Christmas by yourself, doing it your way.

This would be a great time to do something for others. Volunteer at a homeless shelter preparing/serving dinner. Cook and carry a plate to a neighbor who is elderly, alone, not well. Visit a nursing home and take small gifts to the patients. Getting your mind off yourself by doing good deeds for others will make your day much easier and will give you a blessing.

I will be alone, its ok for people saying enjoy it or go shopping, already shopped and fedup with it. Or curl up with a video, that happens every night. TV is full of Xmas stuff, cant get away from it. Lonely time for lonely people. I try to stay up as long as possible and sleep through Xmas and New Year. Merry Xmas to everyone who will be sharing it with loved ones.

you could spend your time on your favourite hobbies, favourite foods/interests, music
ex. get a really interesting book/movie, and take your mind off of stress while sipping on a nice cup of hot chocolate
you could also spend some time during Christmas day/holiday by helping the less fortunate, bcuz it would be awful being less fortunate esp. on Christmas
it would brighten both theirs and your Christmas day/holiday
you could even divide up your day with different activities, so that you wont feel bored or sick of being in the house
Merry Christmas every1 :)

I've had several on my own. Its nothing spectacular. Just watch a good movie and stay away from the mushy holiday ones. Eat, do your work, have a beer and listen to music.
