Since you already have a Wii and a 360, you're really only going to be interested in those games that are exclusive to the PS3, like Ratchet & Clank.
With the current crop of games out for the Wii and 360 right now, I really can't say buying a PS3 right now. Linux support is nice, but is really only intended for advanced users. Blu-ray is nice if you're interested in high-def movies - but - because of the format war with HD-DVD, it's still an incomplete solution, in my opinion.
There are a number of big releases scheduled for spring of 2008, which I think is a good time to re-evaluate if it's worth buying a PS3 or not. This is because:
1: It'll give you more time to work through the huge glut of games that are out right now for the Wii/360 like Mario Galaxy, Halo3, Bioshock, and Orange Box.
2: Sony will probably do another price reduction or announce another PS3 package in the Spring - especially since that's also when the new Dual Shock 3 controller with rumble, is due in the US.

Dont Listen To These People Who Say The PS3 Is S**t. They Are Just 360 Fanboys trying to trash it because it is better ( Its The Truth, Just Look At The Features) The Only Reason They Can Come up With When Asked Why The Xbox360 is Better Is... Halo 3! Oh Great Yet Another Shooter Game Which Is Exactly The Same As Halo 1 And 2. They also Say That xbox Live Is Better. This May Be True, Ive Never Used It. But Microsoft Would Have No Chance In Getting Me To Pay £50 A Year To Use Their Service When You Can Download Many Demos, Full Games, Music And Videos Off The Playstation Store At Absolutely No Cost, With Basically The Exact Same Online Experience.
Most of the time they have never used one, Possibly never seen one in real Life. They Are Just trashing it because they can't afford it !
My Rant Is Over.

I see a much bigger difference in the Xbox 360 and PS3. The PS3 has a hardware failure rate of just 0.02 %, built in WiFi, the PS3 has more built in features, Blu-Ray, a Web browser, and Free Online game play.
The PS3 is the console with the most potential and the PS3 will more than likely have a longer life span than the Xbox 360.
Yes the Xbox 360 has the games now, but as far as I'm concerned the only "big" games coming out for the Xbox 360 in 2008 is Halo Wars, and possibly Gears of War 2. When it comes to exclusive games, the PS3 will dominate in 2008 hands down:
Metal Gear Solid 4
Metal Gear Online
Socom Confrontation
Gran Turismo 5
Haze
The Getaway 3
Killzone 2
Final Fantasy XIII
Infamous
Heavy Rain
Zone of the Enders 3.... and the list just goes on.
Also, since you already have a Xbox 360, you've probably already played games like Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, and Gears of War, but what's next in terms of big games in 2008 for the 360 other than Halo Wars and possibly Gears of War 2?
You should definantly get a PS3. The PS3 is still in it's early stages, game developers are just learning the PS3's power and technology and in a few years, the PS3 will be in a whole different ball game than the Xbox 360.
It's funny because, people think that they have already seen the best out of the PS3, but you haven't seen anything yet. If you want to talk about a console that we've seen everything it's capable of, it's the Xbox 360 and Wii.

Well the biggest diffrence is that the actuall games are produced on Blueray. So game exclusives like Uncharted drakes fortune are huge and have awesome graphics and sound effects that will blow you away. Games like Call of duty 4 look and play bettter on the ps3 because the producer had space on the 50 gig blueray to fine tune the huge hd files. On the xbox 8 gig dvd format you get this pixelated effect on call of duty 4. The game dirt is also graphically different......Some multiplatform games are the same on both systems especially EA games etc... But the ps3 doesn't have Halo....wars

i personally don't have any.. hehe. good for you, you already have a 360 and a wii
I say PS3 is too "advanced" right now. you can't really harness its full potential if you buy it now. It may just put your extra bucks to waste.
I say, go buy a PS3 when blu-ray burners are mainstream and more high-end PS3 games are out in the market. Then, the PS3's value would have depreciated and you'd get the most out of the machine then. (and maybe Sony is "smart" enough to have come up with a PS4 ... which would then be too advanced...and waaay too expensive.)

Hello,
I found a free download of Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes here: http://bit.ly/1uSFkea
As a Metal Gear game, its gameplay is based on stealth and playing while remaining unnoticed.

I like the ps3 because you dont have to pay anything to play games online like you do on the xbox360 plus it having the blueray player is a great perk. It is a bit pricy though.
