Not in a routine background check. But an extensive one, such as you would get for certain government jobs would show up everything you ever did and everything you ever thought about doing.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://tinyurl.im/aH3Xg
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

The absolutely free reverse phone lookup sites generally provide the most basic of information such as name and it works only for landlines. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book or personal knowledge and they only want your email to send spam.
Stay away from shady reverse phone lookup sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse phone lookup site like http://unlimitedchecks.net/everify-256.html that has been around since 1999.
If I recall correctly they have two options:
1. Get only one report.
2. Get unlimited reports. I went with this option because I wanted to verify more numbers. This is how I caught my girlfriend cheating, I got the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and criminal-court records.

A background check is normally just to check police records for past criminal convictions.
They may search google for your name though - check it out yourself first.
When I am recruiting people I always check work history very carefully for gaps in employment and ask for explanations. Were they actively looking for work or doing volunteer work or study during these times? If not, why not? Do they lack initiative .... next candidate.
Be careful leaving out jobs you think are not relevant - there may be something that the interviewer sees as relevant. Flipping burgers involves customer contact, cash handling, stock control and team work. Don't under-rate how an employer may view your previous work. Just put in a one liner if you think it is not very important.

It's different in every situation. In my past experiences, I have never had any of my employers check my background or work history. I guess I was a lucky one. There's no 100% guarantee that your future employer will see all the jobs that you have had.

No. A background check will only show if you have any misdemeanors or trouble with the law. It will not show your previous employment history.

reverse phone number search compiles hundreds of millions of phone book records to help locate the owner's name, location, time zone, email and other public information.
Use a reverse phone lookup to:
Get the identity of an unknown caller.
Identify an area code.
Recall the name of a person whose number you wrote down.
Identify an unfamiliar phone number that shows up on your bill.

Get a clue... To a prospective employer, ALL of your previous jobs are relevant. Everyone has jobs they don't like and soon leave, or jobs for which they are not suited, so they don't stick around long. What an employer REALLY wants to know is are you honest, are you hiding anything and are you really who you say you are? Give all the correct info on paper and explain it in person during the interview.
