Michael,
Many of us felt like that. There are books you can read to help you decide, the first one was, "What Color is my Rainbow?" There are tests, like the "Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator"' which help you narrow your search according to your personality. Taking classes at your local community college that sound interesting can help you figure it out, too.
Book stores and libraries have those and other books available to help you decide. Another way to think about it is to see if you can find some classes that are similar to your hobby. If you do what you love, you'll find a way to make money at it.

This is pretty brief, but it gave me a good idea on an area of study/career choice. I don't expect you to take this and automatically know what you want to do, but it helps to just think of certain options.

first, you should think clearly what you really want, what kind of life you wanna live, white collar or a big boss.
second, you should find out what you are interested in.
finally, what would be most suitable for you.
after consideration, you are expected to make a decision, and once you choose, you're gonna do it,and never give up.
