Knowledge without faith in God is like a circle with out a center. It is a rudderless boat sailed without a destination.

Yes, I agree with this quote. I think the word barabrian is too harsh, though- I would say intellectual snob. I know a lot of people who have gained knowledge of the world and don't know God- they go around thinking they have all the answers and yet none of their knowledge actually accomplishes anything worthwhile. I think knowledge without God is an extremely dangerous thing and allows people to entertain illusions.

I just might almost agree. Knowledge without some sort of moral basis or concience is dangerous. But I don't believe that it takes the kind of God most people believe in to give a person a moral basis. I would change the quote to say "knowledge without Wisdom..." Wisdom is that which allows us to use knowledge properly. Christians, and others, believe that Wisdom comes from God. I do, too, I just don't believe in the same kind of God most people do. I believe people who are Atheists on this plane can still be wise - they don't have to believe that the energies of the universe are God in order to use them wisely. That won't make sense to many, but it is what I believe.

I tend to go along with that because denying God prevents all the facts from being put on the table.
In other words, it's like playing without a full deck.

Agreed. Knowledge without God is obtained through world conception. And you won't be able to grasp true conception of the world without God being a part of the knowledge you seek.

I guess so. It's giving too much credit to those who know something, enough to endanger themselves - they ae not what I would call 'Intellectual'.
Proverbs 12:1
Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

The bible talks about Worldly wisdom and wisdom from God. So yes, any wisdom that is not of God should not be listened to.

When "God" enters the equation knowledge is biased and useless.
