I had my nose pierced yesterday (don't give me any crap about it) and tonight I sort of sniffed and ended up choking on a little blood. I had it pierced with a stud. I looked inside at the back of the stud to see if it was bleeding a lot. When I looked inside, there was a long white strand hanging down. I thought it was snot (I KNOW IT'S GROSS!!), but it ended up being more like tissue or cartlidge (not slimy). Can anyone tell me if this is normal or not? I already know it's not a bump or the scar thing that happens. Thank you!

Although I've never had my nose pierced I do have friends who have done it. They say the pain wasn't all that bad. It's only the sound of a pop that scared them. They never got an infections. But you have to clean it everyday to make sure not germs get in the whole. Hope this helps.

Normal healing process. That was probably just crap from your sinuses that got stuck on the back of the stud.

Yep, that's normal.
Clearish/yellowish discharge is normal healing in piercings. If the discharge was green, then you should worry because that means an infection.

yikes....maybe it's dry fluids that came out after the bleeding...so try to put on some lotion...or meet the nose-pierce professional....
