Seriously, if wishes came true, peace for everyone and an end to all violence and disrespect.
Lightheartedly, the materialistic stuff I would like but am unlikely to ever receive would be tapestries to do, knitting yarn, a Nintendo Wii, a trampoline, skywalkers, any quantity of chocolate, as long as it's Galaxy, a bottle of Pernod, Chanel no 5, not just perfume, but greedily the whole caboodle...shower gel, moisturiser, hand cream (do they make it?), lilac satin lingerie, a wisteria for the garden, Moorcroft pottery and a grandmother clock.
In reality, I shall be delighted if my family are together, happy and healthy - that's the very best. Oh and my kids help offer to help prepare vegetables - what a surprise that would be!

Hi Debra,
I want the statistics of suicide to fall this year. It is alarming the number of people who are unhappy and feel unloved around the Holiday Season. If you folks know someone who has no family or friends to spend the Holidays with ask them to spend some time with you and your family. It is amazing what a little time with others can do for people who are alone during the Holiday season(s). I LOVE and CARE about each and every one of you no matter where you live, what your beliefs are, and what you do for a living. Have a wonderful Holiday! Thank YOU Debra! I feel much better now and I think I will be going to bed shortly!
Your Friend,
Eds

If I get anything for Christmas, let the Lord give it to me. I really am going to try to stay away from Christmas. I never thought that God was into it either. So to the Lord I do not observe that day.

I'm asking the rents for an iPod Nano and a digital camera. The rest can be a surprise. I've also requested giftcards, the Planet Earth DVD's, and coffee. Mmm, coffee.

A gift card for Amazon.com
tickets to the next Alice Cooper concert that's close (i.e. within 200 miles)
I'm a serious research junkie and reader. Amazon used books are awesome!

Personally, I want a laptop.
Economically, I want my country to prosper.
Politically, I want my government to avoid graft and corruption.
Philosophically, I want to become a better a better Catholic.
Morally, I want to be a better person to my surroundings and everyone in it.
Externally, I want my surroundings and everyone in it to achieve happiness.
This is what I want for Christmas this year and every other year to come.. except the laptop, I'd change it every year. ;)

My hubby gave me money for CLOTHES. Yayyyyyy. So I don't have to have a present picked by him that I don't really want, and I get a fun little shopping spree. I'm so excited! And I want my kid to make me an awesome glue, glitter and pompom enhanced piece of artwork.
