will there be a world war 3?

Everything in the world is becoming more and more hectic. I truely believe there is going to be a world war 3 with nuclear weapons. what do you think? i also believe in this world war there is not going to be a winner because it is dealing with nuclear weapons which effects everyone.

It could be 28 minutes from now or 280 years from now. When the superpowers square off against each other in two camps, then come back and we'll talk workd war 3.

Until then, just think regional conflicts, wars between rump states, proxy wars and brinksmanship. If you recall the Yom Kippur War in 1973, a coalition of Arab States (Egypt, Syria and Jordan) were soundly defeated by the Israelis. That was a worse situation than the current conflict and it didn't raise a blip on the world war radar (not that it didn't have the potential to spark a global war).

The next World War will involve a nuclear exchange, how could it not. In the first 30 minutes, nearly a billion people will have been vaporised, mostly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. Another 1.5 billion will die shortly thereafter from radiation poisoning. The northern hemisphere will be plunged into prolonged agony and barbarity.

Eventually the nuclear winter will spread to the southern hemisphere and all plant life will die. You ask when is the apacolypse, you are asking when will we commit global suicide. My answer is it won't happen soon because the larger superpowers are more rational than the rump states in the middle east.

Our biggest risk is an accidental launch of nukes by one of the nuclear powers.

what i think is going to happen is some random guy is going to shoot up like hitler and start blaming christians and jews or a big war with two contries on in northern hemisfhere and the other in the southern hemisfhere and the countries ib between involed

but just saying it might happen in the trubulacence period 7 years 3 1/2 years of happiness and 3 1/2 years of torment and super hard to do suicied

I don't mean to make people upset but the world is in a war. If there was a WW3 ALOT of people would die if it turns into a nuclear war. If Iran ends up nukeing the states it ain't gonna be pretty. I hope that there will NEVER BE A WW3 :)

world war three has been going off and on for a couple decades now. we don't think about it now but the collection of worldwide conflicts that have occurred in the past twenty years or so will likely be considered a world war in the future. world wars one and two didn't get their names until long after the conflicts stopped

nuclear weapons will never be used by one government against another with nuclear weapons, because those countries who have them realize the certain consequences of a nuclear war. if a nuke if ever used again it will be against a country who can't retaliate in turn, or by a terrorist without any national affiliation

WW III started in the 1970's in Munich, Germany when Islamic terrorists took atheletes from Isreal hostage. The war on Islamic extremists may not look like the other 2 world wars but it is one.

We are in World War 3. Right now. Turn on CNN and everyone is trying to kill somebody. Sooner or later, someone is going to get their hands on a nuke, then two, then three. "The War on Terror" is just warming up folks, this is just the begining. Wait until you get to see a city burn off radioactive smoke on CNN, complete with Google images, and your weather report includes fall-out predictions! MSNBC will have polls as to weither or not we should nuke back in reprisal. If the internet still works.

What's the point of using nukes? Once used everything in the targeted area is destroyed and the resulting fallout means that the territory cannot be occupied. The leaders of the world know this which is why they most likely won't use nukes. Now I don't know why terrorists have not tried to use nukes yet, it could be because they know if they do they'll loose whatever support they receive (outside of other terrorist organizations) would be cut off.

Perhaps. Perhaps this is just the prelude to a 1914 type of situation. There'll be many proxy wars until one proxy wars starts a Big Bang. Then you have your World War III
