p.s. i still lift weights for an hour a day and run and play games for another hour every day....

Those are good choices, but you aren't getting enough calories, fruits, protein or vitamins. You should eat 1500-1800 calories/day, if you are doing that much exercising you'll still lose weight. And get a good multivitamin from a health food store.

Your first meal of the day should be larger, try some whole grain toast or cereal, yogurt and fruit. For lunch, salad with salmon, chicken, or tuna, fruit, skim milk, light dressing...or try a lean meat and vegetable wrap, or vegetable soup and a grill cheese sandwich along with fruit...for variety. Have a few nuts or fruit as a snack mid-afternoon. At dinner have grilled lean meat, two servings of steamed vegetables and rice.
Portion control is often the most challenging part of a diet. If you eat the right amounts of a variety of foods, you should be able to lose weight and be healthy.

Forget healthy eating plan I devour like a horse and I simplest weigh 9 stone. This is what works for me: Eat most of the time, if feasible each and every 3 hours, while your frame realises that it is getting a consistent give of meals it raises it is metabolism, burning energy faster and is far much less more likely to retailer energy as fats. When consuming attempt to devour plenty of prime protein meals and do not cross too difficult at the carbs. Try cross convenient on trans and saturated fat even though you're allowed the extraordinary deal with. Drink tons of water! At least one gallon in keeping with day. Tea, espresso and fizzy beverages are O.K however they don' rely toward your total water consumption. As for activity I perform a little gentle weight coaching 4 days every week and cardiovascular (I use a rowing laptop) 2 days every week with one days relaxation. There is a usual perception that doing cardiovascular activity on an empty belly is helping burn energy. This is absolute garbage don't do it. Weight coaching is a well suggestion as muscle groups burns plenty of power, even whilst you sleep. You do not ought to come to be Mr/Mrs universe however any fats tissue which you'll convert to muscle groups won't simplest make you appear bigger however broaden your metabolism. Getting tons of sleep may be major while seeking to construct muscle. Good Luck

you have it all wrong...
breakfast has to be the biggest meal of the day - it lets your body know its time to wake up and start burning calories (you are slowing down your metabolism a lot right now)
you are supposed to have 5-6 small meals a day - that way your body gets energy when it needs it and doesnt want to store anything in fat reseves (which happens when you have meals less than every 3 hours)
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 400-600cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day (have lots of veggies to eat in between meals if you are still hungry)
8 glasses of water -carry bottle of water with you and when you feel hungry drink it - we often confuse hunger with thirst (our bodies confuse it)
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
of course you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
