I tried sometimes before ,i know ur feeling my friend u want to talk to minds but some are broad minded at least they are curious and read, but a lot condemn what they don't understand,or they don't want to know or understand. Remember ISLAM is religion of responsibilities ,no dating ,no bare women, praying and fasting ,a lot do not want all this they want to live that lost which they call free.
You read what happened with Christian scientists who stated reality of many things stated in QURAN ,some of them are Muslims now .1500 years ago who knew about those scientific realities to write?
What can be said more than these ,remember abu lahab and read (6,35), am not disappointing u but light finds it's way to opened hearts and minds.

When you set about to assimilate a society or ideology, you had better have a pretty good idea of what that society or ideology is about. Using a systematic approach how would one go about this? Go to a city and tell people what you want them to know. If they do not accept your words, mix a few of their own words with yours. If they still do not accept, have your army kill them. Take captives as wives and slaves. Interrogate them and learn more. Does this really have to be explained? It is so simple.
Being illiterate means you can not read or write. It does not mean you can't think. The things written did not follow an order. They had to be pieced together at a later date, and in their broken form they were most useful for chastising any bold enough to disagree. How unfortunate for the one doing all the thinking that he did not realize the nature of the information he was receiving, for it was the teaching of one side of a debate that was going on at the time. He picked up on the heat of the debate and intended to set things straight, becoming the hero with great glory. The only thing accomplished was two thousand years of holding his own people in slavery to confusion.

peachikini:
This is the second post I have seen where you have extolled the greatness of Iran and the fear of Americans concerning a nuclear attack. I think you may not understand a few things.
Start at one point and drive your car at 50mph for one hour. At the end of that hour stop. The distance from where you started to where you stopped is the instant death zone of a tiny, tiny thermonuclear device. Life in that zone vaporizes. Drive your car for another two hours and you have defined the distance where everyone experiences the horrible, lingering death cause by radiation.
Your foolishness is unbelievable.

I do not quite do study on Muslim charities, on account that I do not have to see matters to think that any individual from a faith may also be well. Moreover, besides the Middle East, such a lot muslim international locations are those wanting support, they do not have the cash to do charity on an worldwide degree. You will have to watch Al-Jazeera, you can get precise knowledge at the Islamic international there. They stated on a Muslim support supplier as soon as, which BBC and CNN all refused to broadcast. I can deliver you an illustration of a muslim state despite the fact that. I reside in a single, wherein there's approximately a two% minority of Christians, Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, and different religions. Everything from Eid to Buddha Purnima will get a countrywide vacation right here, and the charter, aids, healthcare, taxes, is all same for every body. Absolutely no bias. Of direction, fundies emerge every now and then, however its now not simplest from the Muslim part, and the government continually manages to handle it. Edit: in case your going to disregard posiitive feedback simply on account that there aren't any assets or hyperlinks furnished, probably you will have to do your possess study, as a substitute of asking persons on an solutions discussion board.

The questions and answers that I see here remind me of the story from the childrens book Gullivers Travels where the people of Lilliput have been at war for as long as they can remember over which end of the egg they should open. The Holy Koran and Holy Bible are like the egg. If you read both of them you will see too many similarities to be explained as coincidental. Both Islam and Christian have many of the same profits. The rules for living a good life are very similar. Both religions have the same Holy city. There are always two sides to the same story and given a story everybody will interprit it differently and make variations to it. Surely all religions originated from the same place and over the years the religious groups have grown apart due to the differences in peoples interpritations. The rules that both Holy books give us, if followed should lead to people living in peace and safety. It is time people stopped their aguements over which end of the egg to open and realised that what is inside the shell is the same no matter from which way you approach it.
In every socity today we have civil laws and statute laws to govern the way people treat each other. In the days of the profits they had civil laws written by the profits to grovern the way people should treat each other. Whether the profits were guided by a supreme being or not is for each of us to decide for ourselves and does not alter the fact that the guidlines have been written and still exist.

"I'm not trying to preach Islam but ..."
Don’t LIE! Of course you were preaching.
Do you honestly think I'm too stupid to see through your proselytising?

To answer your numerous questions, Mo’ coulda had numerous advisors skilled in Judaism, Torah, Christianity and Bible.
Who is to say others didn’t write all that stuff.

Mo’ converted by the sword – everyone who disagreed with him died.

Please don’t try to convert me – I don’t believe in ANY Invisible Sky critters nor do I like their sales representatives or their sales pitch.
There are many of us on the planet who do not need the help of imaginary friends to get us through the reality of our day or night.
I am one and obviously you are not.

There’s good money to be made from religion IF you can keep a straight face.

I simply doubt that any of those things occurred. Certainly someone wrote the Koran, but it was likely someone other than who you think, or many people, over many years. Nothing impossible ever happened. It's just a story.

Obviously, the Qu'ran was not written by someone who was illiterate. Why not give up magical thinking and join those of us living in the real world?

He did not write it. Scribes did. He had away over 20 years to make up the story and he had a lot of religious teaching around him. The Bible was here already. He borrowed a lot from it. He made Allah to okay all his shady dealings.

in my opinion
1. he had heard about the bible and so told the scribes what he remembered, he changed some things he didnt understand and made up a whole lot too.
2. he was inspired by the devil to go contrary to most of the bible.

'I have written numerous surah as reasonable and miraculous-sounding as those in al-Qu'ran.

Sorry, your prophet failed.'

JP, if Mohamad and Islam is such a failure, you wouldn't be worried about Iran's threat of nuking your a**, which they will do in a heartbeat if they wanted to...heck even Osama Bin Laden could outsmart the CIA....so whose the failure now?
