'Mr. Soul' from his Buffalo Springfield days! He used to play it at his concerts back in the early 70's.
The first time I saw Neil perform was in a local church/community hall in Winnipeg in 1965. He was in a band called 'The Squires' at the time. He's always been one of my favorite performers. Picked up the 'Rust Never Sleeps' DVD a few years ago. I still love that concert!
His Dad was a very well known Canadian sports TV and radio figure back in the late 1950's-early 60's. Very cool radio interview with Neils Dad:

If he played 'Cortez the Killer' off Zuma that would be nice too, especially if all them little ewoks are runnin' around!
Oh yeah, enjoy the show! I wish I was going with you!

Edit - Beatle Fanatic - No, I've never heard her sing before, but I've heard she's good. So, how was the concert? Electric? Acoustic? Both? Good set list?

Everyone else has mentioned most of my favorites, but there are a few left out. Stupid Girl, Homegrown, and Sedan Delivery are all really great songs. I saw him on his all acoustic tour in the early nineties and it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. If your lucky he will have Ben Keiths with him and maybe even Pancho from Crazy Horse.

Note to Smiley: Scott is also in the Hockey Hall of Fame as a broadcaster. Thanks for the link to that interview.

Sundays are our kin days! We upward push up and have a small breakfast (a bagel, yogurt, fruit, etc.), then all of us bypass to church. After church we've a huge kin brunch after which do an pastime of a few style: play a pastime of baseball or soccer interior the outdoor, play a board pastime, bypass out for a walk, etc. as an occasion, the day gone by we drove to the harbor and walked alongside it for awhile. From approximately 5-7 we do homework, have quiet time, nap, etc., so as that we are waiting for our weekly picnic dinner! We take a seat interior the front room, placed on a action picture, and have a picnic dinner on an analogous time as we watch. the extra youthful young ones bypass to mattress after, and us older young ones finally finally end up homework or only carry out till we bypass to mattress.

A very ragged and loud, or quiet and acoustic "Powderfinger", would be good - he can make it work either way.

It would be great to hear "Birds", just him on acoustic (this is a less common song in his set lists), maybe as a medley with "The Needle And Damage Done", "Tired Eyes", or "Harvest".

Enjoy the show : )

The setlist changes very little from night to night on this tour. Before the show even begins an announcer specifically asks the crowd not to yell out requests. That said, Young picked an amazing set of songs for this show that shouldn't disappoint you. If you don't mind spoilers, you can check out previous show setlists here:

He once said in an interview that he wouldn't play any material from "After the Gold Rush," which is a shame, since it is one of my favorite albums.

But I'd ask him to do "Tonight's the Night," which still gives me goosebumps.

AFTER THE GOLDRUSH..........I saw him do it live once on an old junked-up piano.....it was awesome....
Also, unless you are a 100% die hard Niel fan (read: you know every song he's ever done) be prepared to be bored....if you only know 30 Neil songs, you're in for a snore fest.........he plays his obscure stuff alot......

Also, I see many posts that include POWDERFINGER......YES!!! that songs kicks a$$

He does not usually take requests. I yelled Powderfinger over and over at a show once and he played it, but I'll never know if it was because of me!! (Thrilling either way)
