i don't know where the phrase "all dogs go to heaven" came from but i've heard it a lot.

So that means all tigers must be going to hell since they are bloodthirsty carnivores and killing machines. Makes sense. Right?

Nope, animals are automatically going to Heaven. They are born w/ instinct to kill to eat. They aren't like people who kill just for the heck of it.. Animals kill for their food, that's the way they were made, that's what they do, it's not wrong in their society to kill for dinner.

No. When our souls/spirits move on we shed this early body. So there are no dogs and tigers on the other side, just sweet souls.

And just because a tiger eats meat it doesn't mean that it is a killing machine. The right is reserve for the top predator, the human. Tigers kill to eat, and they take out the weak for that the gene pool improves...the strong survive.

Darlin I got news for you. Dogs are bloodthirsty carnivores. Domesticated dogs just eat what they are given and don't have to hunt. All carnivores go to heaven.

If there is a heaven...I'm sure the animals are the first ones to go.

As far as bloodthirsty, carnivorious, killing machines...I think many humans actually take that title.

Tigers aren't bloodthirsty, they kill to stay alive which makes them no different from us or dogs for that matter.
Where do you think that meat you buy at the store comes from? There isn't a grocery store for tigers to buy their food.

Dogs are carnivores, too.

My 4 year old daughter was talking about her friend's dog that died the other day. She asked if the dog was in heaven with Grandma. He told her that he was. She then said "I'll pray to Grandma to give him a hot dog." My husband said "Nobody has to give him a hot dog. In heaven if you want a hot dog, one will just fall into your lap."

I thought that was very cute. :)
