Do people really do it?

Do people really do it when people ask them to send their regards to somebody or said to say hi. Or it is just something people say.

It probably depends -- I know for me I will usually say that I saw so and so at such and such event and they said to say hi. But there are times when I don't see the person that we have in common - and if it goes more than a week, I don't pass the messages on.

I think everybody should do it. It is polite, and its comon courtesy. I know that when I ask someone to tell someone hi for me, they usually do, because when I see that other person again, they'lle say something like "yeah, so & so, said they seen you the other day.

I always do because it tends to make the person that gets the regards feel good.

if i remember i will pass along the well wishes. Just as when my MIL tells me to give all the kids a kiss from grammy I give each one a peck on the check.

People say it to be nice, but many people don't do it, although sometimes they would talk to the person I guess. Personally I never do.

i always try to, it shows them they are loved,
and often if they bump into one another later on it comes up ie they could say 'i saw so-and-so the other day' if you passed on the message the response would be 'oh yes they told me' instead of 'oh they never mentioned you'

I try to. It's just common courtesy. Sometimes people don't do it because it simply slips their minds, and sometimes, people just prefer to be rude and don't do it.
