can you maintain your weight while powerlifting, or do you like just gain muscle and get bigger, because i dont want to gainn

resistance training does not automatically stimulate muscle growth. there is a certain manner that weights must be lifted to stimulate muscle growth and there has to be a caloric excess in the diet for the muscles to grow once they have recovered from exercise.

power lifters are able to stay in the same weight class year after year because they keep the caloric intake constant. the diet determines the size of the muscles not the loads used to stimulate them

you´ll become stronger, bigger and leaner, but you´ll look like an athlete not a weightlifter
