A few days ago, I noticed a circle on the tip of my nose. It looks elevated, but not red. I had a picture taken the other day and in the picture it looks like a discolored circle. Rough edges, and elevated. I believe it has gotten a little bigger as the days go by. I am waiting til early next week, then calling a dermatologist. My question is has anyone had this or know anything about what it could mean?

well w/out seeing it i wouldnt want to speculate. the important thing to remember is not to bother it no matter how red or swollen it becomes. the dermatologist will bring immediate relief either w/antibiotic or possibly lancing it. once it drains the antibitoitics will keep out any further infections.
