Well you can buy a extended warranty from the retailer that you bought it from, they usually cost sbout $150 for 3 years. If you bought a PS3 a year ago and wanna increase it now, then I think its too late.

I believe it is 1 year and contact sony _pg ten of the manual and see I believe you can.
