American Red Cross, 15+ years as a volunteer, locally and nationally in disaster services. I love it, it is a wonderful feeling to help people in crisis and try to give them the basic needs, a hug and a little financial assistance for them to get their lives back in order. I have met some amazing, courageous people through the years I have traveled a great deal for American Red Cross to the areas that have been devastated by hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, wildfires and other natural disasters and some man made disasters as well. enjoy the continuous training that I receive, have made friends with people all over the country and it is truly a rewarding experience..
