It`s been almost 6 months since we broke up but we still chill at his house and sleep together.The only things that have changed ,since we broke up,are we don`t go out anymore but he`ll still occasionally offer to buy me stuff. Also we don`t call each other everyday but we do email each other almost everyday.

I broke up with him ,and he still there when I really need him. Like when I had a college interview in NY he took me and when I was gonna be late for work which was an hour away he took me.And we don`t always sleep together sometimes we just go to sleep and he doesn`t complain about it.

it could be that you are comfortable w/ each other. or used to each other. or lazy to get into another relationship, to get to know someone all over again. it's a rut, get out of it

It's like the old saying,"He wants his cake and eat it too". How do you feel about this? Do you you feel used? You should. You sleep with him but yet he does not take you out. You say he offers to buy you stuff. Does he buy it? Do you refuse it? If so, why? This is his way of keeping you around, so he can have you when he want you. The clincher is you accept it. You should take a serious look at this "so-called" relationship. Think about what you want for yourself in a relationship. I think you should sit back and reflect on your life and your wants and dreams. You may discover you are wasting your time with your ex.

Sometimes it is just hard to let go of what you had and you guys probably don't want things to change. I have been through the same thing. Maybe you should talk about getting better together. it's natural to be stuck on each other. i got out of a serious/long relationship 6 months ago too (coincidentally haha). you just have to cut it cold turkey and move on. it will be hard (it's still hard at times for me), but just keep yourself together. go out and hang out with friends and party and go to clubs and meet new people. you will be fine and you will be happy for being able to move on. everytime you spend with him is just another time that you could be meeting another great guy.
