have a pacific section black and white and the other section coler??

Yes I know Photoshop but i have no idea how to do it one there, i have photoshop but i don't know how to do the effects /:
Can someone please help me step by step to getting one of my pictuer's to look like this?

Easiest way.... with no layers....

Start with color photo.

Using your choice of selection tools, outline the part that you want to leave as color.

Click your invert selection, so that everything that you want to turn b&w is chosen.

Use your saturation command, and set to a negative number. start about 75%, and work to 100%, to see what level you like the best. Full "no color" is -100%.

Use your tone/color levels to make any adjustments that you like.

After you finish with the b&w, use invert command again, and you might want to over saturate specific colors, or items.

Epic gave you a great tutorial to follow, but the picture you presented also has the color section desaturated to give it more of a hand painted effect.

select quick mask now paint the area to be left coloured with brush tool. this will make selection. press ctrl+shift+I (to select inverse). now ctrl+shift+U ( to desaturate it). finally ctrl+D and its done.

select what you want in color with the lasso...then go select inverse....then hit desaturate i the menu...thats it
