You are right. Age is nothing. HOWEVER, when you are 10 or more years apart, remember where folks are at those specific ages. At 20 you'll want to go out dancing, and your boyfriend is 30, he will want to go to a sportsbar and sit and eat and watch a game. At 25 you'll be charging up the career ladder, at 35, he'll be near the top. At 30 you'll want to be married, at 40 it's likely he's already been there and not want to go there again. What's more, you will still want to go out and he'll want to stay in. Get the picture?
Yes, age means nothing, but it might get in the way of things you like to do. If you are happy to make adjustments, then fine.

im very biased as my lady is much younger than me and she is very mature and i have improved with age (at least i think so) --- so yes if it is a genuine relationship it can work and work long term ---- enjoy
