1. Blow the dust/dirt off with your breath

2. Put a bit of glass cleaner (Windex) on a paper towel

3. Clean the glass and if there's some lint left, blow it off with breath

You can also use a microfibre cloth, which will eliminate the lint but will cost more.

Here's a tip: to keep the LCD surface free of scratches, go to the office supply store and get a PDA screen protector.

Hope this helps.

First, DO NOT use any liquids, even on a paper towel.

Second, DO NOT use a paper towel unless you like scratches on your screen.

Third, refer to your Owner's Manual for the camera. Somewhere in it, probably near the back, there should be a section on "Caring for your camera". It should give you instructions on cleaning, etc.

Forth, NEVER use any liquids for cleaning your camera.

i use a microfiber cloth and a tad of filtered water to wipe my laptop screen. I'm sure the same method could be used on the lcd of a camera.

A micro fibre cloth and a tiny amount of water/moisture is all you need.
