America is not all that great. We have plenty of problems. Our "greatness" is merely a ruse.
Please pass this on to all the people who are trying to immigrate, legally and illegally.

We "always go into war"?
Gee, I guess that means the U.S. was to blame for World War 1 and World War 2. I guess that means we somehow started the Franco-Prussian War, or the Spanish Civil War. I guess we started the Japanese Invasion of Manchuria. And the Punic Wars, every war that has ever happened in the Middle East, the Trojan War, the wars between Greece and Persia, the Napoleonic Wars, etc.
Or maybe you are just another ignorant little puke with no knowledge of anything in this world, and you enjoy trolling on this website for jollies.
Get a real life -- start doing something like READING A BOOK for a change. Maybe even get a spot of brain in your head. Twit!

We don't "always" go to war..... America was founded on great ideas; ideas that make us free. Our country is full of people today with a billion different ideas. Many countries hate us for that. Many people in our own country turn our country into something it wasn't before. For instance, gay people, satanism, fundamentalism, abortion; the list doesn't end. In conclusion, America is free (which is good), but America isn't exactly soo great. America doesn't always go to war, but that doesn't make us great or low. War doesn't make a country great or low, but it does define us, and so does our general ethics and representative population as a nation.

Your question assumes that because a country goes to war its not great. Right? Well I gotta question for you. Can you name me even one, even just one...one country that has never gone to war that is great hmmmmmmmmm?
We only hear silence. That's because there is none as they were taken over by another country.
Liberals think that strength is in tolerance and happy thoughts but HISTORY will show that the strong and mighty and just survive.
You can't think happy thoughts and tolerance and stand in front of an Islamic terrorist and leave that room alive. He'll slit your throat.
But...if you were strong and mighty you could kill that terrorist. Umm sorta like we did with Sadaam and his two evil sons that raped and murdered women.
My grandpa talked to me about when he was in world war II and how they didn't want to bomb Japan but the Idiot emperor wouldn't surrender.
So it wasn't until we bombed the heck outta his country that we brought that arrogant man to his knees and they surrendered.
Today, because the US did that, the Japanese people are free'r now than then and are now the US allies and friends.
It has always astounded me how folks think War is going to go away. The truth is it has been and always will be part of this planet until He returns that is.
No offense to the ASKER of this question but I know your age range. That question is asked by someone either from elementary school - college age.
But when you read history and you live in the real world and you get to be an age of oh 30+ and you listen to what your grandparents who fought in war, have told you....and you wake up and realize how the world works....you will realize that the question should not be asked the way you asked it...
Instead you would have said.."If war is always going to be around shouldn't our real focus be on WINNING?"
Thats the only thing that matters. If war is inevitable and I am one to believe that it is (although I don't like war either) then our time and effort is more wisely spent on WINNING the war and how to WIN the war than how to avoid the inevitable.

Nothing rallys a country better than a good war that has been given a good image in the publics eye. The problem with the current war is that it has gone on for too long and the media has access to too much of the bad information. But normally when a country goes to war it will rally all its people.
And America rules.

We have been dragged into most of the wars and conflicts we've been involved in, either by sneak attack or to save weaker nations from the tyranny of various megalomaniacs, bent on world domination. If you had paid attention in history class you would know this! and wouldn't have exposed your faulty intellect! Go to France and ask them why they are free today, Oh!! I almost forgot; they've forgotten!! We face a similar problem in today's world, the fight against Radical Islam must be won at all costs!! They have set their goal as the "Total destruction of ALL Western Society" "Anyone that doesn't believe and or think as we do is an "Infidel" and if they are unwilling to convert they must die!" This is what we fight for today, the survival of our way of life! They want to throw the world back into the "Dark Ages" No music, Dancing, Games, Radio, Telephone, Cars, Movies, women would be lower than dogs with no rights and forced to wear "Birkas" or be shot in the head at Public Execution! But some people want you to believe it's only about oil !

yeah.. so america is great.. thats why we have mexicans paying thousands of dollars to get into the US illegally. Same with a bunch of other people. I wonder why... hmmm... And that fact that you dont have people from America trying to live anywhere else but here.. even if they say they hate america.. if you hate it so bad... go move somewhere else.. i dont see them moving.. People that hate america just wish they could live here and have a life like we do. Well about 90% of them do. the other 10% are just looney.

America is a great country with a stable economy and established government. However, since it is a superpower, other countries wanted to discredit its image in order not to be associated as an ally of the US.
