no longer a false prophet???

Do you think it is a wise decision to base one's eternal destiny on the Watchtower Society as God's channel of truth because they admit that they have made mistakes??

Conondru: My religion is not new. I am talking about Biblical Christianity and the head of my church is Lord Jesus Christ. Consider it. I am not here to win souls to My religion. I teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. He loves you and calls you to a life change.

Vot Anar: I see that JWs have really hard time with real Christian Christmas. But that is because you have bought into lie.

I do not celebrate pagan Christmas. To me worship is the Spirit of Christmas. Worship is an attitude of an informed eart that is so filled with wonder and gratitude at what God has done that it responds by magnifying the Lord through every means available.

The right date and time or not, to me Christmas is God's greatst expressin of His love for the world...and a great reason for our worship!!! I love Christmas, and I celebrate as my Lord's birthday. I do not have a problem with a Christmas tree and gifts. Wise men brought expensive gifts to Him when He was born.

You worship your organization over Lord so you miss out on a wonderful celebration of Christmas because you are not allowed to celebrate.

Moises_Frias: Where do you get the info that I go to the Westboro baptist church??? I have told over and over time that I am non-denominational Christian and attend worship regularly at my non-denominational Christian church.

I do not have problem visiting Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Prespyterian church etc.My church is not the only true church because I believe that all the Christian churches where they believe in Trinity and Jesus is the head of the church are true churches.

Yes, and I enjoy my Christmas tree. Why do not you concentrate answering my question instead of making unrelated comments.

Lavender: It is a good thing if you listen to your dad, but he does not have any authority to decide who is a true Christian and who is not.

True Christian is the one who loves the Lord God Jesus and do not change His message to fit their opinions

God is Just, He knows our hearts.

From what I understand God declares if one claims to be a prophet and their prophecy does not come to pass, they shall die (spiritual death):

"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die." - Deuteronomy 18:18-20 KJV.

You suggested, 'In 1975 basically about four hundred,000 human beings left the Watchtower society'. nicely, no longer me, and not in any respect anybody if my relations. we are nonetheless the following, because we stick with Jehovah God no longer a company. do no longer overlook that Charles Taze Russel change into used to finish God's will, he's not the 'founder' of Jehovah's Witnesses, there have continuously been servants of Jehovah, and there continuously will be, and is the reason why our preaching has no longer stopped because it all started back contained in the early 1900's. a similar Bible students you're attempting to denounce are a similar ones who discerned the magnitude of the 12 months 1914. 'some' of them assumed that this 12 months had 'extra' magnitude, yet this change into cleared up, yet they were best about this 12 months and its figuring out the 12 months of Christ enthronement. although this is of note that we also discerned that particular practices were incorrect (Christmas, Birthdays, flow etc) and ameliorations were made. yet this change into finished a lengthy time period in the past. yet what number different non secular agencies have discerned the magnitude of such practices????? So curiously, regardless of how you would possibly want to target to throw rocks on the sea, the Watchtower employer remains LEAPS and limits previous others in this regard. who's usual in the course of the globe for his or her preaching paintings?? to boot Mormons (who carry forth for a 'set time') Jehovah's Witnesses common make up the biggest and greatest preaching attempt contained in the international. And basically as Matthew 24:14 says the sturdy information of God's Kingdom will be preached. yet who's preaching it?? Jehovah's Witnesses are. So back, regardless of how you slice it, we may nonetheless be a minimum of 'closer' than the different employer to satisfying this prophecy regardless of the consistent competition. If this isn't a sparkling indicator of Jehovah's blessing, than i do not comprehend what's. Are you area of a company this is preaching in better than 100 languages in better that 2 hundred lands??? when you're not any more, then good judgment might want to dictate that you haven't any room to criticize us. that could be equivalent to the snail calling the rabbit sluggish. you may ask each and each of the questions you want, and we are able to proceed to evangelise.

You are refering to 1 Corinthians 13:8. Yes everything is already written in the Bible. We can not add anything or subtract anything from the Bible. Let the Bible speak for itself. And so this is where other prophecies outside of the Bible really will fail. The only wise decision for our eternal destiny to be based is only in the Bible and no other else. Everybody will fail except the God of the Bible. He and He alone who knows from the beginning to the end.

False prophecy - they admit they have erred up to a certain point! Then complete denial and justification.

Like an addict in denial, like a dog returning to it vomit.

Prophecy is one thing though the complete doctrinal package is just garbage particularly the eschatology.

From my experience I do believe that many JWs know better but love the pretty picture sent by the WTB&TS so they stay hoping and waiting....

The apologists for the WTB&TS uses Jonah and Ninevah as excuse.. look for this. But God did not make Jonah a false prophet.

Nobody's perfect. How about your religion. No doubt your church is adorned with the cross, a pagan symbol that predates Christianity by thousands of years.

You have acknowleded that you celebrate Christmas. What has been said about Christmas? The book The Story of Christmas tells of the date December 25:

“It was, in particular, the greatest feast day of the Mithraic religion, which appeared, for a time, to be rivalling the Christian faith as the state religion of the Roman Empire. . . . The reverence that the Mithraists paid to 25 December certainly had its influence in deciding the Church authorities in fixing the official birthday of our Saviour on 25 December.

“To select 25 December, then, as the official date of the Nativity was to adapt, to the service of Christianity, a feast of immemorially ancient origins and world-wide observance.”

The Bible does not reveal the exact date of Jesus’ birth. More than that, “the early Christians did not celebrate His birth,” comments The World Book Encyclopedia. And why not? “Because they considered the celebration of anyone’s birth to be a pagan custom.” Augustus Neander, in The History of the Christian Religion and Church, During the Three First Centuries, agrees: “The notion of a birthday festival was far from the ideas of the Christians of this period in general.”

If there is a mirror nearby, I suggest you look in it.

The Lord Jesus would have nothing to do with a Christmas tree. He'd be very disappointed to see his "friends" celebrating a pagan holiday.

The apostles themselves made mistakes and assumed certain things about Jesus because they did not have the entire picture.

You say you follow Biblical Christianity- that means you follow the way of the same apostles who made such a mistake too.

Now go and hang up some more lights on your tree.

My dad said NOT ALL Christian faiths are 100% incorrect. "All Christian faiths got good teachings that contributes to ones life. Take all the good beneficial teachings of each faith and supply that in your life; and you are good to go. Never be prejudiced toward another Christian because there is hope for eveyone that goes to Christ Jesus."
Sunday family Sermon. Thought for today with my sharing because I love all of you that love Christ Jesus.

I agree with Conundru & Uncanny Comic.

It doesn't. However, Deuteronomy 18:22 says that if a prophet makes a prophecy and it does not come to pass, then he has spoken presumptuously and is NOT TO BE LISTENED TO.
