I want to find a boyfriend-material guy who is really attractive but have a hard time believing that he wouldn't be just running around with all kinds of women who are drooling all over him. Is there hope? How do you make such a guy commit?

If all i was interested in were looks then I wouldn't be asking this question would I? The point is: I am sick of superficial attractive men who just wanna have sex... I need a really attractive man with substance so that I finally feel like I have met my match..and I won't go on about why I think i deserve such a guy..trust me on that!

You have to get lucky. Most guys have little desire to commit when they are young. Especially not if they have can have sex with anyone they want. So yeah, attractive men are usually players. Just from friends I've had who were very attractive men I can tell you they also have very little respect for women. I wouldn't recommend one unless you just want to sleep with him for a night.

I would guess that most really attractive (top 1%) men in NYC are gay. You seam pretty shallow based on your question. Your probably also broke and expect a man to support you. Look at it this way. Why would a guy like that want to commit, A man will be super attractive for about 30-40 years if he stays in physical shape. Why should he commit to a women who will only spend about a fourth of that in her prime ? Not being sexist just stating a fact. If you base a relationship only on looks he's gonna move on as soon as you loose yours. Which will be way sooner than him. Just look at Holly wood, A 60 plus year old man like Eastwood or Sean Connery will still get sexy leading man roles when was the last time a women half their age gets the same roles. Stop being shallow and find a guy you enjoy being with share some interests and have fun together.

lol seems like you want my life. . . i have amazingly hot guys after me all the time and i can tell you more than half are players. The thing is YOU cant MAKE a guy commit, he has to want to himself and there are very attractive guys out there that want to commit, just keep looking =p

If all you are interested in is looks then you will probably find guys who are just as superficial, and are also good looking. Whether you will get a lasting relationship out of it is another matter.
