I had this problem when I was pregnant. I am a teacher and was on my feet most of the day. My doctor told me to wear support panty hose, and to make sure I put them on before my feet hit the ground in the morning. It meant showering before I went to bed, but it worked for me. Hope it works for you.

Were did you go for the massage? There is a wide range of skill level among massage therapists. If you had it done at a spa you probably got a therapist you just wants to do pampering "Froo froo" massage and not massages geared to help with chronic muscle pain. I suggest seeking out a massage therapist that works in the medical community like a chiropractor's office or sports therapy center.

If your at a station and just stand try this. Put a small box, a steady one, by your foot. Change feet while standing, this will help your back also, varing the stance, slouch a little, change feet, move around. Keep one foot in the air on the box, it will help.
