Only God can be perfect and that is the sacrifice which is required for the atonement of our sins. So, if your theology is correct then the Gospel is wrong because according to prophecy and imperfect sacrifice is not sufficient to restore mankind. If you are right, Jesus died for nothing. How do you get around this theological problem you have created with your doctrines of men.

practicalthought,
Michael is an archangel and a created creature. Jesus is not a created creature but God Himself. No created creature could have fulfilled the role of a perfect sacrifice. So. I ask again, how do you reconcile these facts with your doctrine of men.

Line dancer, I really do not want to hear your heretical Arian nonsense. What I want to know is how can a less than perfect, created creature be a perfect sacrifice in your theology?

You are so right. Jesus had to be God in order to be the required sacrifice.

I am not one of Jehovah's Witnesses but I am a student of history and religion. I do not go along with the doctrine that Jesus is God Almighty. I don't see this as a theological problem. The fact that Jesus is the son of God who was sent by the Father does not prove that Jesus is one and the same in substance before and after his birth as a human being. So many scriptures to validify that he is a separate person and not a part of a trinity to show his perfect sacrifice is sufficient for the redemption of mankind's sins. Jesus prayed to his Father that his followers would be one just as he and his Father are one, in thought and purpose only--John17. Surely you would agree he was not saying they would be a part of a Godhead. Many verses can be used to clarify Christ's unique oneness with God even though he was not the Almighty in human form and after his ascension to heaven. Think about it, could God Almighty Himself bodily enter into human form and redeem mankind! It would not be a ransom of equal balance for mankind would it?--1 Ki 8:27; Mt 20:28; 1 Ti 2:6; 1 Co 15:45.
The concept of the trinity is being promoted in your question and so there is a biased view from your standpoint. A serious look at religious history is in order to see that this doctrine is of pagan thought, along with a personal study of the entire bible canon will not give support to this teaching, but will prove that Christ is not a part of a trinity doctrine.
With love in Christ, C

And why was Necesarry that almighty God have to came to died if the sin came by a human not by an almighty God?angels are superior than humans and has ever lasting life also. God send his first angel or son Michael and his human name Jesus, all angels are sons of God (Job 1:6 and 2:1) and all the sons of God are gods (Psalms 82:6) Jesus is the Archangel that is why he is the firstborn and a mighty god. (Colossians 1:15-17 and Isaiah 9:6)

In Matthew Satan tells Jesus to hurl himself down for it is written that God would call the angels to Jesus aid so he would not strike his foot against a stone. and this is when Jesus tells Satan not to temp God. In Luke it is the same thing Satan is telling Jesus to put God to the test by throwing himself off the battlement of the temple and see if God would stop Jesus from getting hurt and Jesus tells Satan not to put God to the test. Summation - Jesus Christ is not Jehovah God.

Adam was a perfect man... yet he sinned. He CHOSE to do the wrong thing because he loved his wife.
Jesus was a perfect man... yet he sinned not at all. He CHOSE to do the right thing because he loved God- his Father. He could be the perfect sacrifice because he was without spot (without sin). He had to give himself as a ransom for what Adam so willingly threw away.
Back in the days of animal sacrifice, an animal was good enough to atone for sin so long as it fit the guidelines God gave (no blemish, in good health, a certain age). A perfect human, then would be better than all the animals in the world. Which is why Christ only died once for all time and all people.
He doesn't have to be God to be good enough. He just had to meet the criteria given by the Father.

Where does it say created beings are less than perfect?
The bible says those born from Adam are sinful and thus we are inperfect.
Jesus came directly from God, Are you saying God can not create a perfect being?
Jesus was born without inherited sin,
Jesus though out his life, has continued to be sinless,
Thus Jesus being equal to Adam can pay the price of the ransom.
There is no problem to get around.

No answer from a Jehovah's Witness will satisfy you, here is my answer anyway.
Not Divine on Earth
The Scriptures make it clear that Jesus was entirely human from his birth until his death. John did not say that the Word was merely clothed with flesh. He “became flesh” and was not part flesh and part God. If Jesus had been human and divine at the same time, it could not have been said that he had been “made a little lower than angels.” Hebrews 2:9
If Jesus had been both God and man when on the earth, why did he repeatedly pray to Jehovah? Paul wrote: “In the days of his flesh Christ offered up supplications and also petitions to the One who was able to save him out of death, with strong outcries and tears, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear.”
That Jesus was not partly a spirit when on the earth is proved by Peter’s statement that Christ was “put to death in the flesh, but, made alive in the spirit.” (1 Peter 3:18) Only because Jesus was wholly human could he have experienced what imperfect people experience and thus become a sympathetic high priest. Wrote Paul: “We have as high priest, not one who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tested in all respects like ourselves, but without sin.”, Hebrews 4:15.
As “the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world,” Jesus “gave himself a corresponding ransom for all.” In that way, Jesus bought back exactly what Adam had lost, perfect, eternal human life. Since God’s justice required ‘soul for soul,’ Jesus thus had to be what Adam was originally, a perfect human, not a God-man.

Jesus was God's first and only creation that he created by himself, because after creating Jesus, Michael in heaven, he used his Son to bring everything else into existence. Since Jesus, Michael, was created by Jehovah, he is perfect just as Adam was created perfect. Jehovah took the life of Michael and transferred his life into the womb of Mary to be born as a human, since Jehovah God is his Father, he was born perfect without human sin. The Scriptures says the man passes on sin and death since the man's seed is what starts life. Since Jesus was perfect he was able to pay the ransom which washes away our sins if we exercise faith in Jesus sacrificial death. Because angels are perfect, Michael the archangel is God's first creation, Colossians 1:15,16 explains Jesus is the beginning of creation,Michael. You and your religion have it wrong. Nina/ get a clue.

From the time of his birth in Bethlehem Jesus was a mere human; albeit, a perfect one. It was, of course, necessary for the firstborn of the universe to completely empty himself of his divine nature in order for him to become a “corresponding ransom.” That means the value of Jesus’ life as a man had to correspond to the value of the life Adam possessed in his Edenic perfection – no more and no less.
God’s just law required ‘an eye for an eye, a hand for a hand, a foot for a foot, blow for blow and soul for soul.’ Since Adam forfeited his soul and the souls of his then-unborn children because of his disobeying God, the Son of man was required to demonstrate his obedience to God by giving his perfect soul in exchange for the souls of all of Adam’s imperfect offspring.

This is a very good Question. If Jesus was just an angel, like they claim, he would not have been a sufficient sacrifice to cover all of the sins of man...We would still need more sacrifices. Since he was God in the Flesh, he has bought and paid the price for all of mankind....Over, and above.
We have an awesome god!
