I'd say you're screwed. You need to set a dollar limit on that card and pay it off. Otherwise, when the big kahuna is open, you can't bid.

Chances are if this was sent to you via email then it's a scam. Especially if they are asking you for your login information.. Like they want you to login and update stuff... Paypal is a very trustworthy company and will never ask you for your personal information thru email. You will only be required to put in your personal information on sign up... I get a lot of emails saying my account has been suspended and to please login to rectify this problem... of course I know my paypal account hasn't been suspended and if there was a problem they would either alert you by phone or you would have an alert when you actually log in.. they don't operate this way thru email.

No. Even if you open a new account your sending limit will be the same. It is too easy to add a credit card to a account which may not be your own. The verification process is to lower fraud risks.

DO NOT give paypal your bank or credit card number, EVER! Everyone I know, including myself, that used paypal has lost money to them. Oh, and good luck getting your money back that paypal already has.

See nopaypal.com for horror stories.

To be able to send up to 2k a month you do not need to do the bank account thing....Just add a credit card, and you can use a prepaid one....the all access ones are best just get a $25 one at safeway

it's not necessarily your credit card, but any account you have money deposited into or taken from. no, you can't use the money if you're not verified. verification is for privacy and safety...it's so someone can't use your account info to make purchases. all you have to do is look at your statement and fid the 15 cent deposits paypal made to your account. after you do that, and verify that you did it, they know the account is yours.

I think you can send it to your bank account, or ask for a check that will charge you $1.50, I think you can spend teh $ on ebay. Register a card that is about to expire.
You can then cancel the card or account. Good luck!

It looks like you should get verified. However, it's a new month so your limit should be reset.
