you dont really have a problem -- if he liked your best friend then perhaps but as he does not ---- any problems are hers not yours --- enjoy

It depends on what kind of person your friend is, but there are a couple of things that you can try.
1. Talk to your friend about how she would feel. Be totally honest. If she is the kind of person I hope she is (for your sake) then she should understand, and get over it eventually. He's just a guy.
2. Talk to him, and find out why he hates your friend. Always good to have somewhere to start =)

I think that you should talk to your friend about it and explain that you still want to be friends with her and the guy you like. Try it out and see if it works.

He has already made his choice; it's you and that should settle it. Your best friend lost out. Why make things difficult??? I don't think you want a three-some thingy do you?? Once she makes up her mind to move on, she'll meet someone else. Might even like him better.

Talk with your friend first, and don't do anything without her knowing about it so she doesn't find out the hard way and get upset with you.

Your friend should understand this. Can't she tell that he does not like her? It's not your fault. She is the one with the problem.
