I'm an atheist, but I was raised Catholic. In the bible, it teaches that the only curse word is using the Lord's name in vein.
Also, bad words become bad words because of their meanings and usage. For example, the F word is just a synonym for sex.
Many curse words are just used as emotional expressions. And when you replace curse words with "clean" words, like dang, shoot, and fudge, you're still cursing because all you're doing is changing the way the words sounds.
