According to the fictional novel by Dan Brown, The Di Vinci Code, it is a symbol of "female".

In the real world, the painting is of Jesus and his 12 males disciples. If there is a woman in the picture, then where is the 12th disciple? The figure that Brown claims is the woman (Mary Magdalene) is actually the disciple John Zebedee. According to the Bible and church tradition, John would live to be over 100 years of ago, still writing 70 years after the time of Jesus. So it was tradition that he was young teenager, with a slight (thin) build and no beard. So that is the way Leonardo painted him.

As you can tell it depends on your religous background. To me it is a form of the chalice, the holy grail as some call it. It is the form of a womans uterus. Like I said different meanings in different religions. In my religion jesus was just an ordinary man and the woman at the last supper was his wife and she was expecting. This has been an unanswered question for a long time, but has been contraversial ever since Da Vince Code came out. In my religon alot of the stuff in the movie is correct, but in others it caused alot of concerns. To me it is also like politics. Everyone has their own ideas. I just keep my oppions to myself. That is why I don't use my name on things like this do to it causes alot of problems this day and age.

Wow, you must be some kind of genius. Did you know that was a big theme in the DaVinci Code?

The "woman" is John, one of Jesus' disciples. And the V doesn't mean anything. It's just a painting and not a historically accurate one at that.

Well, I never saw the movie nor read the book so it's anybody's guess. I seriously doubt there were any women at the last supper, as the Bible doesn't say any women were there.

What's wrong with you? Was that DaVinci idiot at the Last Supper? Does he know who sat where, in what position?

Listen brain child, it's an artists depiction of that night. It doesn't have any meaning and it's not anything special.
