I agree with Tur B, CM and disagree with Shane. As far as I know nobody worships Mary, the mother of Jesus. Catholics respect her and ask all Saints and Angels to pray for them. This is in addition to the praying they do to God. Catholics see the difference while some people like to stir up controversy and claim that Catholics pray specifically to Mary or worship her or some BS. Who knows what they are thinking exactly. Personally, I don't really care.

No. Worship is for God alone.
Do Catholics honor Mary?
Yes. So do Eastern Orthodox, many Anglicans and many Lutherans. Martin Luther was very emphatic that honor should be given to Mary - he himself had a strong devotion to her.

Nobody. People love Mary because she is Jesus mother. You can love someone and not worship them.

Catholics HONOR Mary because she gave birth to Jesus. They do NOT worship her because she is not their God! Wish people would get that one straight once and for all!

Only The Holy Trinity is worshipped, yet I Honor and venerate the Blessed Virgin Mary above all creatures, because she is the Holy Mother of God himself. Mary is the sure means of salvation, because she takes all Christians to the source of salvation, Jesus Christ.
