What is the view on death in the Islamic Faith? What happens to the person after they die?

In Midaq Alley, Dr. Booshy and Zaita rob the graves of the newly dead to get their teeth inplants, what in the Islamic faith makes this wrong? Is there a specific part in the Qur'an? Would this hinder the person that has died in the afterlife?
I know the view on death is one of rememberence and respect

Stealing is prohibited, be it to the living and dead, eventhough the dead may no longer need any material things in this world. Use keyword steal for Koran search and one can find it. It wouldnt hinder the person that has died from reaching experiencing the afterlife, if anything material from his body is stolen though.

In regard to the prohibition of violating and mutilating the dead, it has been narrated that a man was digging a grave and he stumbled on some bones, the Prophet of Allah (S.A.W.) said: Breaking the bones of the dead is like breaking the bones of the living. (Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud & Ibn Majah). It is a general rule in Fiqh in which it is prohibited to violate, harm or mutilate the dead body whether it is a Muslim or non-Muslim cadaver, as an act of revenge, showing disrespect or doing so without any good reason. Those who steal from graves will receive their punishment for their act of stealing. It doesn't affect the dead body. God resurrects all souls back to life with new bodies even if all bones are completey eaten up by earth because God has record of all humans that He creates on earth.

in Islam all creations, expacially human is very important, valuable, even if alive or dead, and we have to respect dead body, not any harm. robbing is forbidden even from under the ground.
