For all of you people who claim that its impossible to lose 6 lbs. in one day, you are all wrong. I'm actually in the exact predicament you're in (I have to cut from 118 to 112 in one day) and I've managed to do it sucessfully before.

I don't have any complex strategy or what-not: I eat a small dinner for the upcoming day of fasting and exercise hard in practice with a sweater and sweatpants on. I weight myself after practice and if I am not within a pound of my weight I go on a bike until I do (I usually lose a lb. while sleeping). I've always made weight using this formula.

Most importantly, I rehydrate and refuel directly after making weight (remember to drink in sips not gulps).

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Some of these answerers will get you killed. Putting plastic bags over your body will trap dangerous temperatures of body heat, literally killing you. Also, forcing yourself to throw-up will make you feel sick later and can lead to chronic eating disorders. Don't drink excessive amounts of water either as doing so will drain all the electrolytes from your brain.
The quickest and most efficient way to burn fat is the one we hate most: run run, and don't stop running. Running not only works every muscle in the body, but it's an arobic exercise, which means it's not fit for bulking up so much as burning fat and increasing dexterity. After you run, I recommend that you do three sets of 15-20 push ups, and then do crunches, bicycle kicks, and rotating crunches.
Most notably, you should do neck exercises because a large neck gives you an advantage in the wrestling arena. Lie on your back with your knees bent and lift your neck up and down. You'll feel the muscles pounding in the back of your neck. Additionally, hold light weights in each arm and shrug your shoulders. This particular exercise works the upper trapezius.

There is no healthy way to loose six pounds in a day, so if anyone tells you a way I wouldn't suggest it because who knows what damage you'll be doing. Just work out a little and maybe you can loose 1 pound but definitely not 6.

It is not very likely-to near impossible that you can lose 6 pounds in one day, especially because you're a youth (I'm guessing you're around a pre- to teenager). Even by starving yourself, you will only lose about 2 pounds + you will have no energy to wrestle. If you exercise, you might at the most see a half-pound loss-and there's even a chance that you won't see any loss because it's only one day. A six-pound loss is something that people set a month or so to lose. Is there another way to wrestle in another weight category?

Eat only fruits; do not combine them with anything else- they will digest slower. Drink only water. Shave your legs/arms. Cut your hair a bit. Run, swim, do cardio for about an hour. Go to the bathroom, pee right before you weigh in. It's close to impossible- good luck, though.

Your wrestling match couldnt possibly be that big if you allowed yourself to get that much over. Let me tell u what's going to happen. You will lose the weight (it's moderately easy for any serious wrestler but requires complete all-day dedication) and get crushed in your match because you are completely dehydrated, physically exhausted from the previous day's workout, and have no nutrients in your blood from fasting. It's already over. Next time get serious.

you need to deplete you muscle and liver glycogen stores. basically you need to eat no more than 50 grams of carbs daily from now until after you weigh in, then you can carb up before the meet.

you basically need to consume protein and vegetables from now until weigh in and exercise at least 2 hours tomorrow doing some moderate intensity cardio. 2 sessions of 60 minutes would be best.

Totaly risk-free, I even have been wide-unfold to lose like 5 kilos in one day.. yet it fairly is as quickly as I had an more desirable metabolism.. yet bodyweight flucuates approximately 2 kilos at nighttime.. Totalyt time-honored :)

eat a small granola bar for breakfast, ONLY!! that's IT!! and have the hugest freakin breakfast ever or you won't be strong enought to wrestle because of the lack of food. also, don't drink too much water. (your body will retain it) and NOTHING with salt! EVER! retains water aka more weight.

plus, sweat as much as you can, go running, doing sitt-ups. but dont gain any muscle, that'll add to the weight. do jumping jacks, i think they work the best. don't worry, you can do it. :)
