You sound like you know you need help, so I think you are very sane. However, just llike our bodies get illness' so can our brains. You are wise to seek help! You must have a prescription for an antidepressant. Your regular Doctor is able to write one, but a Psychiatrist is best as this is their specialty and any type of medication can react differently from one person to another. Also, now days there so many choices to trreat conditions, you are much safer in the hands of a specialist. Most counties offer low cost or free mental health services. Check your phone book under the county pages (usually in the front of the book) and look for health services. If you have trouble finding it, call the county information line and they can help you. If your county does not offer this, call different Psychiatrist offices and tell them your money situation, many will work on a sliding scale fee, or help your find an office to treat you. Please don't be frustrated with yourself, as I personally have felt like I hit rock bottom and it took awhile for me to get the correct medications and doses. Today, I am healthy, happy, and wish you the same success. You will, just keep working on it! Also please tell your doctor if the medication is too expensive for you. There are many programs to help with that too, and your doctor will help you with whatever is necessary. Best of luck and good health to you!!!

hey dont stress out too much... it'll be okay.
firstly all you need to do is go to your usual doctor and tell them your concerns, they can then give you a referral to a psychologist... this will then make your visits cheaper than if you were to take yourself straight to the psychologist and you should be covered mostly by medicare or whatever you have where you are.
i would do this before checking yourself in or diagnosing yourself but act fast in getting some help

I have what you need, it's in my hand young grasshoper
Take this pill, sooth your mind, and maybe even your soul

Like a ninja in the night it shall creep through your viens
It will flow up to your spine and nestle to your brain

Float in to the distance, no more troubles left, no more to say
Go sleep, Go away, feel better another day
