I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing a star of David if you're a Christian. It is a symbol that is generally recognized as Jewish, but Christians revere King David as one after God's own heart, as it says in the Bible. Maybe the cross is more meaningful to Christians than the star of David. I have seen Christians wearing necklaces with the star before.

When i was in the 7th grade we had the Baptist minister's wife as a substitute teacher. She was wearing Star of David earrings. So it was OK with her. Actually I don't think she knew what they were (I had to tell her).
