With all these rules about Muhammad and how upset the muslims get when people do things related to him even innocently doesn't this seem like worship? Doesn't it seem like muslims elevate Muhammad to godhood? Or that they at least worship him?

I see that you got some degree insults and threats from these peace loving Muslims. Of course they respect Jesus, that is because Muhammad asked them to. The Bible was here a way before Muhammad was even born. Muhammad was also a very violent person and his religion is taking that path too.

No, just don't insult Islam and prophet Muhammad. You may criticize Muslims as much as you like and nobody would be offended.

The problem is that Europeans have been insulting Islam and lying about Islam for the past 1200 years or so, whereas Muslims have always respected Christianity and Jesus. And that is why Muslims get very frustrated when they see Westerners exercising their "right of free speech" in this manner.

Keep in mind that many Christians live in Muslim countries. If you don't stop, Muslims will make their life miserable, as it has started to happen in Sudan and other countries. Tit for tat is not going to hep anybody. It's best to end this religious war, if you don't want a permanently divided world.

look we have a terrible amount of respect for our prophet and no we do not elevate him to godhood if there even is such a thing also people in slightly less developed places like sudan they have a more elevated respect because from my findings they devote a great deal more time thn most people do. whoever said that blow up doll comment better watch how he treads

no kidding... i'm assuming you've heard about the teacher in Britain who was sentenced to 15 days in prison for letting her students name a teddy bear "Muhammad".

I wonder... If someone named a teddy bear "Jesus", would anyone be going to jail? And that's supposed to be the son of god, not just a prophet. What about just "Moses"? I doubt there would be any questions asked.

Why does the muslim faith hold more authority than all the others?

Muslims give Muhammad away too big honor. He was not a good person.

No we do not worship Mohammed, but those Muslims in Sudan overreacted waaaaaaaaay too much. If I was them I would just demand an apology from that teacher and that's it... not kill her that's just crazy talk.

That's called respect you moron...it's something you wouldn't understand coming from a culture where the divorce rates are high with kids sending off their parents to old folks' homes once they're old enough.

the reason we do not visually depict apostles of God:

1) so that he won't turn into the next jesus and get worshipped as a 'god'
2) so that he doesn't get ridiculed
3) so that his visual depiction will not stir up racism, like the blonde blue eyed jesus statues u find in churches....in some black churches jesus is depicted as black...now wouldn't that be absurd?
