okay, i met this guy 4 yrs ago in highschool. i only knew him for 4 months, then he moved. he dated my bestfriend during 4 monthes. then (4yrs later) though a weird twist of fate, she found him on myspace and they had a 2week fling.
the fling restulted in him getting screwed over by her. (she went back to her boyfriend). Now the guy is my roomate. i know i cant like him cuz he dated my best friend, but when he talks to other girls i get jealous.
he has a HOT friend who rooms with us too, but i don't have that reaction when he brings friends home.
im 21 and don't want to play games, but i seriously don't know what im feeling. plus i don't want to say something to him and have him not feel the same way. cuz then things would be weird
i mentioned it a while back, but we were drunk and the next day when i asked about it he said he was too far gone that night to remember anything.
okay.... so do i like him or what?
i really want him as a friend. we connect so well.

let me clarify, my bestfriend is not my roomate. just the guy and his friend
plus, i cant ask him.... i can't explain why. its just i can't. i wouldn't even know what to say. i think he is afraid of my ex boyfriend.... who also happens to be a roomate.

Well come on, you're 21 and I assume they (your room mate and best friend) are your age as well. If they were together for 4 months 4 years ago and just had a short 2 week fling later, than it's not like they were in anything serious recently or w/e. Talk to your best friend and ask her flat out how she would feel if you date him.
If she's fine with it, go ahead. If not, then forget about it, if you're that worried about hurting the friendship. Personally I think she has moved on and you have every right to start a relationship with him.
