on wednesday, while i was eating with some friends, a girl i hang out with some came over and joined in the converstaion. after a few mins, she starts rubbing my foot with hers. she left after 2 or 3 mins of doing this. i'm not good at picking up hints, but i know that means she wants to date, make out, ect. i'd be fine with this except for 2 things, first shes apx 2 & 1/2 years younger and a lot more immature, secondly she already has a boyfriend. of course, i want to stay out of a fight between the 2 but i don't understand why she did that because shes normally reliable and dosn't do crap like that. if anyone can explain why she did this, please do.

it's possible that she was just having fun and messing with you. also, girls sometimes tell boys that they have boyfriends just to make them jealous or work harder. she may not even have a boyfriend, unless you know him - then that's different. but, she could just be flirting for the heck of it and having fun.

why don't you ask her? maybe she just needed to rub her foot :)
seriously i think she might be trying to tell you something that you need to really get clear from her. tell her that what she did confused you and tell that unless she has serious intentions with you then she must not do it again because it might become a cause of trouble if someone else sees or notices it. unless you would like to bet your life on her, most appropriate is to get out of this before it becomes troublesome.

It was a bit more blatant than smiling and twirling her hair, but she was flirting with you.
If she's too immature and/or young for you and comes with drama that you don't want to deal with, then ignore her. If she does it again and you aren't interested, then tell her to stop.

What I would do is go ask her in private if its what you think I would go for her have fun. If her and the boyfriend fight and break up thats not you problem. As for why she did what she did she wants you.

she was flirting...just let it pass....you wouldn't want the reputation, you wouldn't want the karma, nor the resulting chaos. you're cool enough..she must think so...play it that way.
