As to shopping cart size, that varies by store. $200 does sound like a bit much for 1 person (I spend about $100-150 for two people per week). Still, if she's purchasing lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, that's expensive. Or organic items - those are expensive. Meats can push the bill up as well, as will paper goods like toilet paper. Liquor is expensive, so if she drinks or uses it for cooking, it can get pricey.

$200 a week is a lot of food for one person. I can eat the whole week on about $50. Is she a very large person? Does she entertain a lot?
