Hes my savior

2007-12-01 13:19:33 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 2 1

Jesus is a man, such as Budda, Mohamed, the Dali Lama. Born of flesh and blood. He grew to become a teacher and a prophet. Do not worship the man, live by his teachings. Have love by way of his teachings. If he was here he would be disguisted be his image being worshipped, espeacially the image of him on the cross. Live, Love and be at Peace with what he has brought to the world.

I do not know where I would be without the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in my heart and in my life-my love for Him knows no bounds.Unfortunately,by reading the previous answers not everyone shares my sentiments. My wish is that everyone would know this love...It is the greatest feeling there is.

Not as strong as it should be. I pray that I will learn to love Him more every day. One thing I know I need to do so that I do draw closer to him instead of wandering away, is to read His Word and seek Him everyday. When we let life come between us and God instead of driving us to Him, we find ourselves less in love with Him than we were. It is very similar to a marriage. When we seek our spouse and put effort into building our relationship our love grows stronger and stronger. When we neglect it, we begin to feel like we have "fallen out of love". Give God your attention and love and He will add to you all that He has planned for you. Now may I take my own advice.

No one is perfect, and the earthly thing do get in the way. My love for him is very strong, but i pray that it will be stronger.

'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' (NIV, Mark 12:28-30)

I want to love Jesus with all my heart. He is the only light in my life and in this world. But the truth is, it fluctuates from time to time. When I return from mission fields, I remain fired up for God for so long and I weep when I pray every night. His love is just so real to me. But in school, I sometimes find myself drift, and I pray, write about God in my journal, and I feel closer again. I sincerely hope that there will one day be a time when I can come back and answer, "very strong" with confidence.

I believe Jesus was a great man. Key word here man. I admire him and his influence on the world but love may be too strong a word.

I am really not that faithful to be honest,
I have been having trouble with my faith lately...
I used to read the Bible all of the time, but now the spark actually went out... it is what it seems like.
Actually, at points in my life I have doubted the existence of any God.
I know I am not the best Christian, but how can you improve?
