Most likely not, since a lot of people here seem to like to do it. I am talking about muslims harshly criticizing their fellow muslims and declaring that they will be going to hell or something like that. Or that their actions are *****, when in fact they might just be makruh or something.
How about we spread more peace by speaking kindly and gently, instead of ranting about how bad the person is?
Anger is wrong too, you know! So getting angry at your fellow muslims and expressing that anger so harshly is definitely not good. It just makes me sad =(
Please, just try to spread good feeling....helpfulness is more readily accepted if offered with a kind word, a heartfelt word.
So i ask of you to please refrain from this harsh criticism of others! Guidance and wisdom dont equal total condemnation.
Thank you =)
Masalam

Bella - yea...thats also a sad point...but i find it sadder that MUSLIMS put other muslims down instead of kindly correcting them

Noor: well i have to sadly disagree with many of your answers to things too. I dont know anything abt shias and i dont remember saying they are our brothers or w/e. i remember giving a pretty neutral answer to someone who seems like an exemplary person.
i find it amusing that you are accusing me of doing what i am complaining abt in this question! Show me where i said you are sinning, because i can assure you you wont be able too. I never even said it was wrong, just simply that it made me sad that ppl are so harsh to others. I prefer kind words when being corrected, not words that tell me i am stupid, etc. So i dont like seeing other ppl being answered in that way! or being told that other ppl are that way.
in other words: cant we all just get along? criticize in a way that will allow ppl to take it as positive and change themself for the better, not in a way that will just make them angry and upset.'
THANK YOU.

Marhama - that is sad to hear, i think i remember seeing that....=/
and yes, that is EXACTLY the kind of thing i am talking abt.
I really hope i dont come off as sounding wrong, i am not condemning those that DO these things....i just want them to realize that they are doing it, because they might not realize!!! =/
Islam = Peace, and you are supposed to be at peace with your fellow muslims....not biting at their throats if they make a mistake.

Yep, its true, but yes, some things that people do here is haraam, and if they are doing something wrong, and they're telling the whole world about it, then it is our duty as muslims to point this out, and tell the brother or sister in a clear, respective, and kind way that what he or she is doing is haraam. simple. but some have arrogance in their blood and seem to put out all their anger on their keyboard when it should be expressed kindly, like how the Prophet peace be upon him did it;; and I'm sure that most Muslims here know the story about the man who came into the masjid an-nabawi and began urinating inside the masjid; the Prophet told his companions to allow him to finish his buisness, then he gently tols him that what he did was wrong.

Insha-Allah our Ummah will wake up one day and realize all this=)

Yes I agree. Everything wrong can and has the best results when it's corrected in a peaceful nice manner. Otherwise that person will feel attacked and what good can come from that? I think that if a person posts a question or answer here that is wrong they obviously they think it’s correct and don’t know that’s it’s wrong…then someone should kindly correct them. However as Muslims we must be careful with what we “think” is correct, reliable sources of information are best. I mean if you are or heard a scholar speak about a certain subject, if you studied Islam and other reliable ways…then you are a reliable source/ are reliable with that subject. Otherwise what we think we know isn’t always correct. Peace.

I agree with you. And Shia are Muslim just like Sunni. Both sects believe in ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) and Muhammad(PBUH*). No one is more Muslim just because they read the Qur'an or memorize the Hadiths though to read both is important it's not the basic tenent. There are people on Yahoo who think I'm not a Muslim and it hurts because God knows I am one. So does my husband lol but I try not to let it get to me. I personally don't agree with the split into sects as ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) condems sects in the Qur'an and Muhammad(PBUH*) forbids it as well. I think it is sad that Muslim today in my opinion feel the need to identify themselves as Sunni or Shia. I identify myself as just a Muslim as I don't approve or believe in either sect. Remember there were no sects in the days of Muhammad(PBUH*). They were all just Muslims. The division between the Muslims didn't form until after the death of Muhammad(PBUH*).

I am answering your questions for the first time , i don't mean this one only, i believe in one thing which is like a second flag to us in Jordan it says " The country is every one's country and religion is for God." We each have 10 fingers they are not the same and so are people each is different from the other.

i support you from deep of my heart. anywhere you go, any forum for Muslims, they always criticise one another instead of giving a better example, instead of gentle try of showing the right path. we are just human beings and criticism, jealousy are part of us, but Muhammed (pbuh) strongly recommended not to get angry, sad or afraid. so let's not get sad also, let's just ask our Brothers and Sisters to respect our community, to respect our religion.

no count number if or not they opt for to be approached, or left on my own is regularly the adaptation between approachable and not approachable. all and sundry could desire to be approached in a hypothetical concern, not all circumstances are hypothetical however. maximum folk %. up on whilst somebody needs to be left on my own, and whilst they sense like drawing near human beings, they regularly enable human beings understand by drawing near human beings.

most people who talk bad about Islam know nothing about the religion and just claim that its a hateful terrorist religion because of what they hear on the news.

and you know what! these days on the news if someone does something bad and they are Muslim, the news people will tell everyone that they are Muslim. but if it is a Christan or any other religion, they won't bother mentioning it because its not important. all of a sudden its like being Muslim is a crime. this is discrimination that is going on right now against Muslims.
