I doubt it. Remember that in Genesis there is a mention of a mist that watered the earth, but no mention of rain, as such.

Yes they had.
Just because there is no mention of rain doesn't mean that it didn't rain. There are at least 2 points of logic to this:
1. Genesis 7:4. God told Noah in seven days it was going to rain for forty days. If it was a new thing, Noah would have asked, "What is this rain thing that you speak of"
2. The Bible doesn't mention anyone having to "relieve" themselves, but we know they did, because they are human.
Sometimes we need to apply common sense and logic to what is and isn't written.

no is the general consensus. The majority of christians who study this area of the bible do believe that there was no rain before the flood and the idea that rain would fall seemed absurd.
