I think there is a great deal of truth in the statement. Maybe it is our competitive nature, or the idea that the grass is always greener...etc...but it seems that especially in relationships the one who doesn't want you is always the one you think you can't live without. If someone is "into you" and always around and things are easy....there just isn't any challenge so you can't get that excited about them.
At least that is what a lot of people probably feel.

yes-what I can't have and what Idon't have. It is always better to hold out but sometimes untouchable is a turnoff it just depends on how long the other person is willing to wait or how hard they will try.

YES. it a human nature not to apprecaite what we have and keep crying for what we do not have. that is the root cause for all the problems. if we can be satisfied with what we have, we can be really happy in this world.
