Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord god had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
The serpent told a half truth which is a lie, just like Planned Parenthood does today in their support of abortion.

Ge 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
It brought Death to the Human race both physically and spiritually.Christ had to take the bondage of death back from Satan by sacrificing his life for ours.he didn't keep us from physical death though
.Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Satan goes about this World lying everyday! trying his best to hide the truth from us.deceiving us of the Glorious gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ!

When the serpent told Eve she wouldn't die if she ate the forbidden fruit. He told her the first lie to deceive her. She committed the first sin by eating the fruit cause she listened to him. Big Mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Genesis 3:4. The Serpent (Seraph or Angel as is a better rendering of the word) said "You shall not die." First of many for the Devil or father of lies as he is later called.
