Any suggestions on good chese to eat with wine? It's for a Christmas party.

There isn't one best cheese, just like there isn't one best wine! I like a sharp cheddar with a deep red wine, but a milder cheese like smoked baby swiss with a blush wine and a really mild cheese like gouda or edam with white wine.

if you can, have several kinds because people have different prefernces.......maybe a gouda, brie, extra sharp cheddar, and a pepper jack.........grapes and granny smith apples with it???
