To educate the rest of you, "Top" and "Bottom" are terms used in the Gay and Lesbian community. A top penetrates and a bottom recieves the penetration. There are other aspects of sex outside of penetration, such as dominance and control, which spills into the S&M arena.
With guys you often hear the baseball metaphor, "pitcher" and "catcher." In European languages it's "active" and "passive," but that can be misleading. A top can be a bore and so can a bottom who just lays there - a "do me queen." But bottoms can be very aggressive and very active in bed the way some straight gals are. Tops can be very masculine or they can be feminine, same with bottoms. A lot of it has to do with sexual energy. People who like being both on top and bottom are called "versatile," but since being a "bottom" can be a stigma, saying you're "versatile" can be a cop-out.
In some cultures guys are expected to be one or the other, but not both, as in Mexico.
A bottom can literally be on top of the top man or woman, but is still the bottom.
And there's nothing more depressing than two of one kind having the hots for each other cuz there's nothing to do about it. This may in part explain why gay males at least tend to be promiscuous: they gotta find out who's what, and most people don't admit it up front, But once you know...

I style of agree. They get stressful in many instances. But dude, you do not must be so imply approximately it. People have their possess disorders. Ha this is too funny! To be quite honest with you. I absolutey love being on top. I like being in control, but then again I like being controled at times too. How about switching it up a bit and go from behind HA HA HA
